The employee is entitled to compensation of wages in the amount of his average earnings for the taken leave.
For the part of the leave that exceeds four weeks of the basic amount of leave, which the employee could not take until the end of the following calendar year, the employee is entitled to compensation in the amount of his average earnings.
Wages and salaries may not be paid to an employee for four weeks of the basic leave, unless he or she has not been able to take the leave due to termination of employment.
The employee is obliged to return the paid wage compensation for the holiday or its part for which he lost the right or for which he was not entitled.
